Unfortunately, it has become the norm now that people don't play the objective. It is pretty consistent that 2 to 3 members of my team have 0 captures for the entire match, which feels quite frustrating.
I wonder if there is a solution by which more 'personal' incentive is provided for playing the objective.
I had two initial thoughts to incentivize capping behavior.
1) Provide additional energy gains to make it desirable. Perhaps this wouldn't be in the form of more super energy, but a minor bump to all ability gains.
2) Give each member of the team a 5-second buff to speed, etc... so that capturing a point doesn't make it feel like you are "falling behind" for staying on the point to capture it.
Unfortunately for me, I used to really like Control, but now it's my least favorite mode by a mile. I'll even take crests over it.
What would you do to fix it? Does it even need to be fixed?
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
