I'm also feeling longer loading time lately, along with FPS loss. Issue that have already been reported in the forum by other users.
I'm running an i7 7700k at stock clock, with 2 x 8 GB DDR4 clocked at 3000 MHz paired with an Asus Strix GTX 1080 OC. Gaming at 1440p on a G-Sync 165 Hz monitor with graphical option at max settings.
Destiny 2 is installed on a separated 1TB Samsung SSD, with windows having its own and also 500 GB Samsung SSD.
As you see, there should be no performance and loading time issues.
Bungie, any words ?

Clear your graphics card's shader cache. That fixed my issue.
