You didn't really play pvp but that's not the point here. You play on PC and you are ultimately responsible for what runs on it.

  • All I want is that someone who speaks to me, someone who gives me a reason and not a ready-made answer from any support bots or salty players who call me a cheater. Whether I am released or not, but you should be able to talk about things. Especially since I haven't done anything, the more I'm looking forward to the answer from Bungie, if one comes.

  • It's also Christmas day so you likely won't expect one this week or maybe the next. The only thing a person who gets banned can do is either attempt to prove without a shadow of a doubt what they were running on their PC wasn't illegal and hope bungie responds in kind or be honest in their post and give a full detailed list of what runs on their PC and be honest in their post instead of saying "for no reason" or "not my fault".

  • Yes, of course he is, but what about software that is recognized as bad, but actually does nothing, such as Discord or OBS. I have read many times that this software is recognized as "bad"

  • Wrong. Obs or discord has never caused a ban

  • I've run discord and OBS with ZERO issues. The overlay doesn't work in discord and OBS isn't faulty here either. The OP isn't being honest about what he runs on his PC in the background and is likely never going to admit it. 99% of the people who get banned here are running a program they "claim" isn't targeting the game and it might not be but it's still not right to run it in the background regardless. I've seen about 500+ of these cases over a large span of time and I've only seen 1 person in all of those who I couldn't figure out what they were running. Cheat engine, artmoney, external drives, auto clickers, emulators, auto hot key, afk scripts, injectors, you name it I've seen it.

  • But there must be a way to talk to someone. I can absolutely understand if you ban people who cheat, but I'm sure there are more people who were wrongly banned. A lot of these people just end up with it, but I'm not going to give up that easily, for the simple reason that I love this game, but I don't see myself re-playing or buying everything new

  • You’d be wrong. There have only been 5 confirmed cases of people being wrongfully banned. Their system and methodology of doing things is efficient and accurate. They know what’s running at the time of launch. It’s not much to argue. If you don’t know what’s running on your PC, that’s all the more reason you should be concerned about what YOU have installed on YOUR machine. You don’t need Bungie to validate what you already know.

  • I absolutely agree with you, I should know what was on my computer. But this computer was already 8 years old and I think you can understand if you don't have a complete overview after 8 years.

  • Like I said . Prove without a shadow of a doubt why you need to be unbanned with proof of what programs you ran and why they aren't or shouldn't be illegal. Atm there is no one you can talk to especially in the holiday season. The forums are how bungie takes comments and help and mentors and people like myself sift thru the rest. You keep sidestepping the ask of trying to be honest and admit what was running but I guess that's something you don't want to admit.

  • I really want to do something to get my account back, but I don't think I can recreate what I had open for programs in March 2019, especially since I have a new computer since November. Maybe you can help me to convince Bungie that I am innocent. If it helps at all, I have my clan mates who know me and know how I play (although that's not a solid proof either)

  • I've seen one person get unbanned since the game launched. That was fairly recent as well, but he also proved what was running in his pc and how it wasn't problematic to the game. In full detail, bungie did reply eventually and did unban his account. Player or clanmates do not help you as on PC it's likely your clanmates wouldn't know you were cheating especially if it was a subtle cheat. Even new PC's run cheats or anything that can modify memory. Even cheats or menus from other games can get you in trouble here. I will admit to running programs like fivem which is modded GTA. But if I want to play destiny afterwards I completely shut down and turn off my power supply to fully reset my pc before playing destiny out of complete precaution. I’ve never been banned in this game or others simply for taking small precautions. You still need to give a full list of what you run on your pc while or before playing to give an idea. It’s the only way you are going to get any real answer before talking or hearing from a Bungie rep. If the program was run on your pc from a friend or family member then your account is likely done anyways because you didn’t have account security for yourself and it’s ultimately your responsibility.

  • Please explain to me how I can prove on my new computer that I had nothing forbidden on my old computer. To turn of the PSU, I didn't even think about that at that time. But I hope you can understand me a little bit when I fight for my account. Unfortunately I'm also afraid that I won't be unlocked again anyway, but for the future there should really be a contact person, exactly for such cases (even if I can't prove anything). Another point I would be interested in is if I can separate my banned account from my Steam account, if I would buy Destiny again, I would have to do this via a new account, do I understand that right?

  • Proving means you list what programs are running on your PC while or before playing. Like as detailed as you remember. Also once a steam account has a banned account on it you have to make a new steam account to play again since this account is now blacklisted from the game

  • Maybe I should really think about just getting a new account. I can't imagine that I can get a list of programs that would help me to prove my innocence. Making a new account and buying the game again is not forbidden, is it? Not that I'll be banned right back...

If you are running the same programs you will be banned again. So it's a good idea to figure out what programs you might have installed to prevent another ban. You would also need a new steam account
