They are banned rather regularly. All it takes is a quick perusal of the #help forum. Unfortunately, with the game being free-to-start, they just create burner accounts and go right back to it, until they earn a hardware ban. Also, tsk tsk. Never cheat in an online multiplayer game. I won't begrudge anyone doing what they want in an offline game, but it is never, ever, ever permissible to cheat in an online MP game. PvP or PvE doesn't matter. Just don't do it ever.
