It had at least a measure of wit to it until the kiddies started using it for anything and everything. Now it elicits the kind of eye-roll I used to reserve for the original targets of "OK Boomer".

The fact that's its' a "movement' is laughable. Because the reality of it is that the original targets of "Ok Boomer" are old grumpy internet trolls who are just on there to make trouble. It doesn't represent the vast majority of people from that Gen. Nor does it represent the real people responsible for ANY of the issues that kids face now. That was government. Now...one could argue that the 'Boomers' voted for those people but that's debatable. The reality is kids know just as little about what was going on then as the Boomer's they berate know about youth issues. It's just the modern way for kids to throw a tantrum.

Ok Boomer came about as a dismissal of "Just work like I did" with 0 consideration for a vastly different state of affairs. Its not so much a movement now as hijacked by bandwagoning saltbags 🙄

Well sure, but the people saying "Just work like I did" are still old age internet trolls with very little in common with real working class people of that gen. The problem is kids don't know how to differentiate between fact and opinion.
