Apparently ever since shadowkeep came out Bungie decided to stop optimizing and maintaining the game for all versions. This game should play flawlessly on your console even if it's an old one. PS4 and Xbox are incredibly powerful systems and the only reason this game is performing so poorly on them right now is because Bungie is cheap and lazy. This is the only game I play on PS4 that has frame rate slowdown and rediculous lag. Warframe runs perfectly, red dead online, flawless, ffxiv online flawless, ESO flawless. Monsterhunter world is flawless. Even Anthem and fallout 76 run better than this game does.
Those CEOs gotta buy their wives new cars and their mistresses diamond earrings and expensive wine and skimpy Victoria's Secret underwear. So of course they are not putting those extra millions back into the game.

Eso isn’t flawless, I played it for five years. I moved to D2 6 months ago where I thought I fell in love with absolutely no lag for once. Now recently with this new season the lag and load times is so bad...even worse then eso.....that I may as well go back to eso!!! Last night I couldn’t even load my menu up at the tower and after few minutes was disconnected (for the third time in two hours) so I closed app and left. I have a ps4 pro that normally doesn’t give me issues but this new season is absolutely terrible.

incredibly powerfull?????? o.O they are 6 year old hardware man, you can build a more powerfull pc from that price what the hell are you talking about? Get your facts straight you have a less powerfull HW running on HDD what do you expect? :D typical console peasant knows nothing about hardware...

This is a typical pc guy thinking he's better than console players. You wouldn't have gaming PCs without consoles. The thing is not everyone can afford a Gaming rig. Some people have to pay bills and rent. We all can't live with mummy and daddy in until we are in our 40s just so I can have a rig that can play all modern games in high or ultra. You have to have constant upgrades to keep up with the latest games. With a GPU that can run modern games your looking at £160-200 2nd hand. Then a cpu is around £200 then ram then hhd or ssd then cooling, a case etc. You can get a 2nd hand xbox one s or ps4 slim for £120. So stop thinking your better than console players. You pc lot have some serious issues. Some people just want to sit now switch the console on and start a game. Not faff around setting up the pc then setting up steam etc I have a gaming rig that cost £800 a year ago and it struggles with new games and need to be upgraded the xbox one and ps4 run new games fine and I prefer the consoles just easier. That don't mean I'm stupid far from it it's just what I like and it's the same with others. The menus are slow and have gotten worse since shadowkeep because bungie had got lazy and instead of fixing things properly they use tape and cable ties and hope for the best. You can only patch things so far before it all falls apart. Gaming PCs are very expensive and it's not just a case of building it. You have to set up windows, the bios, drivers etc and for somone who don't know what they are doing they could brick that £200 cpu. Get what I saying. Consoles made gaming remember that.

You can't build a more powerful PC with under $200, that's kinda exaggerating lol. But you're right in everything else you said, gonna need a PS5 or Xbox Series X to really have something you can call "powerful".

just add 2-3 years of xbox live/ps plus price to the 200$ margin and i can build a pc as powerfull to drive every game in 30-60 fps with medium graphics low fov with v-sync and motion blur enabled (becuase that is the console quality).

Would it require them to gut the game of features, maps, weapons, abilities, gameplay as a whole? Yep. There's only so much you can do with ancient hardware while maintaining innovation, there's nothing that can be done with the games performance until next year.
