This season you only have 3 resets, which matches the triumph. Even though it is retro active, all 5 resets do still need to be in the same season.

I thought that was why it was changed to be retroactive. Meaning all 5 resets can happen at any season and not just within 1 season.

And they can. If you had 5 resets last season it would count. The change was to let it be retro active, otherwise it would have to be in the current season only

Okay maybe I’m just way to tired tonight or something but I’m not understanding what you’re trying to explain. I have a total of 7 valor resets across all seasons but I still have to have 5 within 1 season to get it even though Bungie said themselves they changed the quest to be retroactive? Meaning it should just auto-complete for me.
