Fated Engram from Xur
I bought the Fated Engram from Xur where it is supposed to give me an exotic that I have not yet acquired but just now I got the Exotic Hunter helmet Knucklehead Radar instead of something I haven't acquired yet. The only Hunter Exotic I still have left is the Assassin's Cowl which I thought I would get as the Engram is supposed to give something that you have yet to acquire. I only have Exotic Weapons that need a quest completion or Raid completion left so the Assassin's Cowl was the last thing (excluding Titan and Warlock Exotics) that I needed for my collection. Please explain this.
And is there anyone else that have had this happen?

This happens to many people that don't understand how xurs engram works. What exotic did you want? He doesn't hand out new exotics only ones from Forsaken and older.
