There is no lack of content.
You're another player that is complaining that the game is not tuned to your personal preferences. Despite the fact that the game has millions of players, each of whom has their own ideas on what the game should be.
The end-game is a min-maxing game....not a loot-collection game. So this Pokemon mentality going around and collecting everything is not the goal of hte game anymore. The goal is to min-max, and to create, polish and perfect.....builds.

Builds are boring tho

Then loot-based games aren't for you.

The builds in this game are super boring, builds in other games are cool

Edited by kellygreen45: 11/27/2019 9:14:49 PMI disagree. The problem I see with the game has nothing to do with the variety of builds....but the ability to farm for good stat rolls. The Vex Offensive and Moonbane armor stats are clearly being throttled. Its almost impossible toget any of them in rolls of higher than the low 50s. Also the end-game activities (except for Iron Banner) dont' consistently give better stat rolls for armor drops. So trying to min-max your stats is just a case of blindly grinding the whole game and hoping to get lucky. Bungie needs to fix that for next season. Because people aren't going to want to invest tons of resources to max out the energy level of a piece of armor with a high-50s, low-60s stat roll when they may get a drop with higher stats....or a better distribution of stats tomorrow. Bungie is---once again---retreating into stinginess.

All I want to do is adjust my abilities, like I want to build for certain aspects of my super so that i can change the supers play style. Like ide rather make nova warp shorter but increase the damage a lot so that it’s really good at pve. But I know that can’t happen in this game :(

Not as long as PVE and PVP share a common sand box. PVP balancing is an anchor around the creativity that could be brought to the PVE side of the game.

Yeah it kinda bums me out, that’s why I’ve been playing a lot of warframe lately

the ..... makes it seem like you doubt your own words.

It’s a subtle emphasis.

The problem is that to create your perfect “min-max build” requires you to log in only once per week. Never in destiny history has there been an endgame wall of redundancy.

Speak for yourself.

While I think the game is fine as far as activities goes its the reason to do them again and again. Here is an example. I used to love doing strikes in D1 because there was gear attached to them, vanguard rep and faction rep. There was a reason to keep running strikes beyond enjoying them. Now, there isn't. Additionally, the armor that comes from vanguard is such low stats that you won't be min-maxing anything if you do strikes (at least I've personally never had one drop above I think 58). Same can be said for PvP in general. This means you get restricted if you want to make those min-max builds and participate in end game and thus the game has a feeling of a lack of content. For me on a whole, its fine. But for others I can certainly see where that feeling is coming from. Its baffling to me because its actually a relatively easy fix
