The order only targeted a few countries that had either defunct or barely functional governments that couldnt, among other things, reliably be expected to know who was coming here from there. It was due to security reasons and not "hurr muslims bad". And another hole in that label is the fact that muslims could come in from literally anywhere else. 2) calling a third world country a "shithole" isnt racist. Its pointing out that said country has some serious problems. Is it mean? Perhaps. Racist? No. 3) "illegal immigrant" is not a race. We need a wall to help enforce our laws at the border. I wont keep it civil, because of who have as president currently. America has proven it could care less about civility when it voted Trump in. Also, why not build walls on ALL of the country's borders? Why just Mexico? Oh, because "mexico bad". Also, words do matter. They matter when youre in high office, something many conservatives and the like have seemed to have forgotten. And while [i]you[/i] may not care about Obama, Trump absolutely does.
