I really wish people would explain where Bungie Hyped the Undying Mind as anything other than a boss change for vex offensives? Did people not pay attention to the story and just started making stuff up? Because the game made really clear it was just a boss change, and actually a good change. People shouldn’t blame Bungie for hype that Bungie didn’t cause.

It’s a major selling pint on the season pass road map.

So were the harder difficulties of Nightmare Hunts. And the only thing that changed with them is they have more Champions.

It’s an event on the seasonal event calendar, but I don’t get tour point? The end of the setup for the next season is something to be marked and it makes the final month of the season but it was never hyped as more than that and the in game dialogue and text made it clear that it was leading up to a point of the story for the next season but not some new activity. If you payed attention you would have expected exactly what we got as it was payed out really clearly.

I think in a world where devs for other games have season and events on their calendars players expect devs to do more and actually do something cool and unique in their game and not just fan boy and praise the devs for every pos they serve up to you on a silver platter.

Considering that the undying mind being available indicates the seasonal title being achievable that seems like something to put on your road map since people would want to know. It’s a marker for the season and it nearing its end and that’s all it was ever advertised as. Nothing is gained but worse content by -blam!- because you overhyped something in your mind when it wasn’t promoted or hyped by the developer.
