They can afford it. Probably just seeing the effects of turn over of key staff members during the last 4-5 years leading to mismanagement. The studio is full of talented artists and hard workers, but no one seems to be able to harness them towards a good vision.

I think they are beyond this point...

I don’t have faith anymore, but I do have hope. I want to see them turn it around and get some positive momentum.

I used to have faith and hope... now all I have is sadness.

luke smith. 100% this guy. he is the reason why destiny 2 vanilla and year one was a f up. he said it over and over again that he doesnt understand destiny 1, and found it to complex and hard and confusion. I said it since The pre destiny 2 interviews. That guy should have never gotten the game director chair. his leadership are the people incompetent enough to not know what and how till last minute, Literally every glassdoor bungie review is : Amazing place to work, but you do all the work 1 month before launch or release because leads cant lock stuff down. I Full hearted believe that vex offensive wasnt locked in until the week before launch. thats why its so lackluster and just reskins, and no story missions or anything " evolving and continuing the world and story "
