First of all any true Destiny vet is referring to D1 Trials of Osiris. Besides - Bungie already said Trials of Nine will not return. That was back before we had special weapons and extra subclasses. It’s going to happen eventually - why do you think they’re testing elimination now? It just needs to happen soon because a lot of us are barely holding on. Regarding your allegations of pvp hurting pve you couldn’t be more wrong. Besides the fact that they have been separating the balancing for many, not all, but many things. PVE has been more responsible for the majority of nerfs in D2. The main reasons being that pve players use the same best in slot loud outs in every encounter because they have a hard time shooting the same thrall or dreg for the thousandth time. Just off the top of my head some of the pve nerfs: Cluster Bomb Rockets Trench Barrel Shottys RoF for all Shottys Super Exotics (Rigs, Skull, Shards, etc) Well Luna Faction Rally Barricade Recluse So stop and think before you spew non sense or ya know maybe git gud?

Every nerf since the D1 autorifle nerf has been because of pvp. You think any true D1 vet cares about how fast redbars die in pve? You do know most of those nerfs were for Gambit(PvP) right? Can't get invader kills if the primeval is dead before the portal opens or it makes the whole invader mechanic pointless, which is why linear fusions, cluster rockets, and MGs got neutered; but you can blame it on pve if you'd like. The exotic armor nerfs were because someone complained in a video that they killed stuff too fast, not because they were overpowered. Keep adding stuff to the list after OEM getting it's overshield in pve taken away because of pvp happens, because the next round of "nerf ____" is already starting.
