You forgot the massive increase of using FOMO tactics to get people to keep playing and spending.
Until about halfway through the players just decide "you know what, -blam!- it. I'll miss out. Isn't worth it anyway."

that prety mcuh sums up my attiture to Eververse now, I don't buy anything off it. Whereas previously when you could still play to earn, I'd usually buy a few packs of engrams to give myself a head start and then spend the rest of the season grinding out the rest of it.

Yeah I couldn't care less about finishing that battle pass. The one exotic engram I opened already was a -blam!-ing duplicate that I had already. Ran that shitty new dungeon last week and again last night. Know what I got? The same chest armor. First run was boring but I got a cool cheat piece so I did it a second time. When I got the exact same armor I got last week I cut that shit off and don't plan on playing again.
