I think it's funny that Warmind, a 20 dollar expansion was more fun than Shadowkeep.

  •
I think it's funny that Warmind, a 20 dollar expansion was more fun than Shadowkeep.
Because warmind was made by Vicarious Visions (under Activision), while shadowkeep by Bungie. Any studio does better than Bungie. They are the absolute worst in the gaming industry and a has-been coMpany.

  • Escalation Protocol was more fun than anything in Dattokeep.

  •
Warmind was way better
How? In what way? All it added were 2 story mission strikes, a raid lair, a small destination, a hoard mode, 1 destination set of armor and weapons, a couple story missions and a pretty bad plot, with a lackluster boss. Shadowkeep brought a short story that’s about the same length as warmind but a much better plot. 2 actual strikes that weren’t story missions, a raid, a large destination, 5 sets of armor, 40 weapons, a hoard mode, 8 nightmare hunts, a progression system, armor 2.0, nightfall ordeals, 3 new seals, finishers, artifacts, etc. Much better and for only $15 more

  • In warmind they weren’t as greedy. Simple as that. Everything was earn-able in game without paying. Sure it’s an opinion, but spite of stars was a more enjoyable raid for me(I’ve done both multiple times). Shadowkeep may have brought more content. Whether it’s good content is debatable.

If you only care about the cosmetics then you should buy them instead of the dlc.

  • Lmao wow great argument. “Warmind had more eververse items”. Yeah. U could also earn them from engrams, AND bring dust was way easier to obtain. But u keep thinking that way sheep.

Also eververse items can still be earned with brightest and bright dust has consistent sources that take less time to get than earning an engram. Shadowkeep has better content than warmind. Eververse is not part of either expansions content.

  • Hahaha u think a couple of emotes and ornaments(that we already got from eververse) is “more cosmetics)? And no unless you farm the infinite random bounties 24/7, u get less. Before u could do WHATEVER you wanted and get an engram in 2/4 hours. From that you had about 33% for and exotic that scrapped for 500. Now you have to go out of your way to do bounties that grant 40. 40!. so u have fun getting things u already have that don’t scrap for dust from nostalgic engrams. Others that see how greedy they’re being(10$ for a -blam!-ing emote) will keep asking for change. U keep being a sheep.

That still doesn’t change shadowkeep’s content from being better. More loot, loot has random rolls, more activities, more replay ability, better activities, etc. I can’t think of a single thing that warmind did better aside from introducing catalysts.

  •
Idk. I’m just saying season 3 was more fun than 8. imo
Eververse doesn’t make the game any more or less fun. The content and quality of content is much higher in shadowkeep. Undying on the other hand is disappointing. Worth $10? Yes. Overhyped? Yes.

  • The content was better. The strikes were better. Will of the Thousands still remains the greatest strike. The Ikelos weapons were cooler than the uninspired moon weapons, Escalation Protocol is better than any activity in Shadowkeep, and was far more replayable too. Warmind also introduced Valor and Glory rewards, and introduced a top tier Heavy Weapon to chase unlike the horrendous Exotics in Shadowkeep. Oh, and the music was better. The only good track in Shadowkeep is Salvation but even that's not totally new. Warmind also had just as much if not MORE new legendary weapons too and mind you, it's a 20 dollar DLC. Warmind is better because the amount of content matches its price tag. Shadowkeep is 5 dollars cheaper than Forsaken and only has 1 new location, less weapons, and RESKINS GALORE. Shadowkeep is literally The Dark Below 2.0. It's that bad. Bungie was so lazy this time around that we couldn't even get a beast or soldier of the Darkness to fight inside the Pyramid. BUNGIE LITERALLY RESKINNED OUR OWN CHARACTER AS THE VILLAIN LMAO!!!

Reskins galore? There are 3 weapons in shadowkeep that are reskins, 6 if you count the weapons from the pass. Warmind reskinned a ton of weapons. The only new weapons in warmind are the mars weapons, ep weapons, 2 trials weapons and the 2 raid weapons. Everything else was reskins. As far as strikes go, both of the new strikes in shadowkeep are better than xol. Xol is a terribly boring strike, like every other year 1 strike.

  • No Xol is not boring because he's a giant worm god with unique attacks and you get to use the Valkyrie but I guess you like killing oversized hive wizards for the 100th time. Ikelos weapons were not reskins. The Braytech weapons weren't reskins. The raid lair weapons were not reskins. The trials weapons were not reskins. There were also new vendor/gunsmith weapons. Oh. AND there were new Iron Banner weapon models too. Not counting the season pass weapons or Vex offensive weapons because they aren't part of Shadowkeep, the only new weapons are the Moon weapons, Raid weapons, Edgewise, and the 3 altar weapons. There are NO new engram weapons and Iron Banner is still using year 2 weapons and somehow you think this is acceptable for a 35 dollar expansion? There should have been twice the amount of weapons. So yeah. Shadowkeep is trash and I have nothing else to say on the matter. Back to playing Outer Worlds.

  •
No Xol is not boring because he's a giant worm god with unique attacks and you get to use the Valkyrie but I guess you like killing oversized hive wizards for the 100th time.
Kill enemies, shoot vent, kill enemies, shoot vent, throw javalin into javalin and then go to the boss. The entire strike is in a patrol space and is extremely boring. The boss fight is also boring. He just stands there as you attack him, a huge boss that dies in 3 seconds.
Ikelos weapons were not reskins. The Braytech weapons weren't reskins. The raid lair weapons were not reskins. The trials weapons were not reskins. The vendor weapons were reskins and every year 1 iron banner weapon was a reskin.
Well, the season pass comes with shadowkeep. There’s also more moon weapons then mars weapons, more garden weapons than spire weapons, same number of hoard mode weapons and two less iron banner weapons. Also the weapons in shadowkeep have random rolls. More than half the warmind weapons were reskins and they had static rolls.
So yeah. Shadowkeep is trash and I have nothing else to say on the matter. Back to playing Outer Worlds.
More than double the content that warmind had and far higher quality.

  • Nope. Escalation protocol is better than anything in Shadowkeep and Xol is more fun than any reskinned enemy in Shadowkeep.

  •
Nope. Escalation protocol is better than anything in Shadowkeep and Xol is more fun than any reskinned enemy in Shadowkeep.
Xol is one of the worse strikes in the game. He’s supposed to be a worm god and yet we kill him in 10 seconds. EP weapons were better than everything else at the time but if you compare them to the weapons we have now, they’re pretty bad. The alter weapons have unique rolls and random rolls. They also drop guaranteed, so farming them is actually worth while. Warmind has ice hive... Shadowkeep has champions. I’ll take the chanpions over ice hive.

  • Xol dies fast because he wasnt designed with overpowered weapons like Izanagi's Burden or Spike Grenades in mind. Are you ASKING for a bullet sponge enemy? And random rolls are not a shadowkeep addition. Quality content? LMAO! I'm done 🤣

Weapons in year 1 were reskinned a ton and the only differences between them were stats and perks. Can you name an iron banner, crucible, vanguard or world drop weapon from warmind that’s not a reskin?
