Final Assault = disappointing
Overall, the season was great. This season (and the whole year) will be all Bungie.
Activision can -blam!- themselves, I'm glad they're out of the picture. I just wish we could bury their name with the contract and piss on it.
Sure, they missed the mark on a lot. But saying the content is "hollow", or flat out not there just isn't an honest argument.

Nah, you're wrong. When 90% of the new content is stuff from the old game, even down to the exact same spots you fight them in, it's bad.

I know everyone likes to bash on Activision for beeing greedy -blam!- which they are. That being said Forsaken was released under Activision and was hands down the best content released in D2. Also during Activision time (greedy -blam!- rememeber) we did not have such an aggressive mt front like we have now.

With what happened to CoD, I think MT would have Pay2Win under activision.

The first season on Forsaken was some of the best Destony content made, no argument. But how much input did Activision have? You know they knew the partnership wouldn't last long. I don't have that answer either. But, as well as being part of the best content, they were also part of the worst (Crota, Osiris, vanilla D2 that ran off literally half the fan base). So it's hard to judge Bungie on a single release. I just know the lows AV had, and how everyone cried about "cut content" for literally two years. As far as MTs go....as long as it stays cosmetic, I ain't mad. There might be more (and the pricing is definitely nowhere near consistent), but it doesn't affect game play. I've always been critical of EV items, but I don't see they're any worse. More abundant, but not worse (since it's cosmetic).

Activision provided money and resources which included other studios. Content will be less and selling skins for silver is where this company is at right now. The entire effort design for shawdowkeep was focused on revenue generating. Anyone saying otherwise is just fooling themselves. Story was short, nothing to buy with bright dust that is worth it, no updates to vendors including ep, banner, forges etc. Lacklustre exotics, Continued no trials or factions, y1 guns remain trapped with no random roles etc.

The way I see it theres a couple of problems with EV now: 1. There so much stuff going into EV while everything else is overlooked. I got that they gotta make money but seeing as EV gets SO MUCH constant refreshers and nobody else does its a bit disheartening. 2. The bright dust economy is flat out bad now. We dont get bright dust anymore from dismantling EV items. There are 6 weekly bounties for bright dust for a total of 1200 dust. Everything is extremely expensive in bright dust terms. Sparrows/ships - 2500/3000 dust, emotes 3500-4000, armor ornaments ~6000. Unless youre willing to grind the 6 bounties on all three characters every week you cant afford a ship/sparrow/ghost shell every week. There is a lot of new stuff, theres ornaments as well. I never spent any silver in the store. I started the season with 24k dust and Im down to 8k and Ive been doing bounties a lot. I know its just cosmetics but in a looter cosmetics have value.

New season starts in a month, so they'll be the Shadowkeep content and Season of whatever the hell it's called content. Vex offensive will definitely be gone, but something will replace it

I was under the impression Nightmare Hunts were seasonal as well, or was I mistaken in that?
