But they won't. I've seen some of the same people for years talking trash about the game(most of it well deserved) But then they turn around and spend hundreds of hours and buy every single new dlc day 1.

I think you're giving them way too much credit about applying a lesson they cant seem to learn after five years. My time in the game has fallen away sharply, it used to be all I played. Most of the guys and girls I played with left before Shadowkeep. The game is on a downward path and I cant see Bungie pulling out of this. They are too busy smelling their own farts. I think the Dawning is going to be a crunch point. They are going to pony up the same oven/recipe combo for little or no reward and throw Eververse at us again. And after this "Final Assault" let down they are even starting to lose the support of the Bungie Defence Force. I'm waiting for Cyberpunk. And replaying Witcher 3 from Level 1 instead of wasting my time with Bungie.
