Building the portal in the tower and you can’t even use that portal. Then the notification in game says the portal Ikora has built is active and shows the picture of the portal that goes to raid. This was 200iq game design.

The portal gets transmatted in to cover the original portal from the Offensive. That's how the Undying Mind gets drawn out. A +1 for creative use of the portal, but -10 for how the rest of the Final Assault went.

The portal Ikora built gets transmatted on top of the vex portal in the Garden to draw out the Undying Mind instead of the other dude. Makes sense.
