Would you have preferred if this did not appear on the roadmap, but rather have just played out in game?

Also, y'all could've left this vex Offensive and especially the lazy boss swap completely out. Why add an activity even more pointless than the menagerie? Cause that's what this dumb mode is and you guys all knew it....

Still trying to figure out what the point was of the whole Vex invasion. After week 1 I never touched it. Sounds like the only thing I missed out on was the FoMo title. Did the final assault last night. Thought to myself .. this was it? Just seemed like throw away content with no real purpose, which it was. Still though...

Make good content, things should have gotten better after D1 not 10x worse

Not on the roadma.. ?? You might be missing the point. Did it warrant a place on the roadmap? No. But it should have. Sure, If it hadn't been posted, there might be a different reaction. "Hey man, check out invasion, they switched things up a little" However. Whether it was on the map or not, we were told the season would start Bungies new focus on an evolving game world. People saw Ikoras portal go up week by week. Little by little. Building anticipation. People were thinking "Great! They're doing it right!" It didn't NEED to be on the roadmap because it was already being foreshadowed in the games story. Then... (in what most people are assuming is the grand culmination of this season...) this. If every season is supposed to be a problem and a resolution, then some work needs to be done on how the team resolves a season. The last part of the season needs to be the most memorable. How many times have you read a book and said: "Yeah that was a good book. Chapter 2 and 3 were great. I don't remember how it ends..." Tldr; If seasons are going to be a problem and resolution, the resolution event needs to be more satisfying than the problem. Not the same.

We were doing Vex Offensive before Ikora started building her portal so by simply swapping the boss st the end of that activity just made the hype and her portal completely pointless. The new event should have been launched from the portal at the tower and an updated version of the Undying Mind strike with loot drop something like Imago Loop or a quest for Mythoclast. Expecting new content but getting pretty much the exact same thing we were already doing was disappointing and underwhelming. I expected more

That is all.]

Would have preferred non-recycled content, better loot, and new loot (not re-skinned guns).

it's lazy and uninspired? it smacks of Bungo clearly not giving a crap about a return on our investment of time, effort and money. it's just further proof, as though more were needed, that Bungo is either not at all concerned about what we want, and is also incredibly lazy, or so poorly run and inefficient that they can't get much done.

Nice name calling for no reason. You were replying to a post by dmg about the current season how is what you said regarding $55 to $70 relevant to that? Sure you would expect more if you were paying for a £55 DLC but the thread is about the $10 annual pass and you would not expect the level of content you expected for that. The whole thread is about an activity in the the season pass, try scrolling to the top.? Your initial post didn't say it was about the DLC how was I to know you were not talking about the season pass? I'm even agreeing with you about the DLC.
