Vex Offensive: Final Scam
So what the actual -blam!-...?
Weeks of build up for "roadmap content". The Final Assault: Undying Mind. Sounds pretty -blam!-ing cool doesn't it? Well I got a -blam!-ing surprise for you. They REMOVED the old Vex Offensive, Added "Final Assault" to the name, made the mobs just a little bit harder, re-modeled the boss and thats it. Go have fun, heres your final roadmap content for this season. Same -blam!-ing tactics as old vex offensive, excatly same objectives. It's like they didnt even try. Oh.. your getting tired of Vex Offensive? Let's slap some new paint on those mobs and release it again. Yeah that should do the trick. -blam!- you Bungie, where do I refund my shadowkeep?
Edit: I would be fine with it would it be free content, but to actually charge money for this garbage is so unreal it baffles me.

Season of the nerfs,re skins and scams. I fully regret getting season pass as i expect this will be the model going forward. What was memorable about this season? Anyone? Not for pvp or pve when compared to past seasons.

27 RepliesYou realize that you didn't even pay for the final assault, right? If you bought shadowkeep the season came free alongside it. You payed for the story campaign, the raid, most of the moon content.

1 ReplyI didn't hate it at all, but probably because this is what I was expecting. I'll run it a few times to wrap up my Undying triumphs and call it a day on Vex Offensive. It definitely could've (and should've) been better, but we gotta remember who runs the show and set expectations appropriately.

Oh were the mobs harder? Didn't even notice. The boss was even weaker than the previous boss. Easy kill on 2 plates playing with randoms. Same event different boss same loot.

Sounds like you played this game only in Shadowkeep.=) This always happens to Bungie. Sometimes I think they can't even reuse things right. That's why in this season I puted down all my hype, just bought Shadowkeep and played it. And when everything started to looks frustrating, I left and went to other games. Right now I enjoy Jedi Fallen Order from Respawn. When I finished it, there will be new season in Destiny. And when next season will become frustrating this will be Iceborn for PC. Everything alright.=)

Final assault should have been a Vex themed Dungeon with Vex Mythoclast and Pocket Infinity as exotic quests, and the Vault of Glass weapons and leafy ornaments for them as rewards.

This DLC was definitely not worth the money it's like the same crap they pulled in Destiny 1 I thought they would have learned from that mistake before but apparently not. The only thing they seem to focus on this season for real was the eververse. Finishers were cool and all but that's a gimmick , the armor system change was okay but the infinity seems like an unnecessary lockout the customize your stuff that doesn't need to be in there at all And let's not even talk about the loot this was the lowest loot pool ever. And when it comes to Exotic they were definitely lackluster and simple-minded there was no cool factor to them at all You would think since bungie makes a game about Loot and weapons that they would focus a lot of their attentions on those things They were talking big and bad about how they were going to go bold but their bark was bigger than their bite this was just a boring DLC all together Just a couple of activities or reskinned weapons the same old iron Banner crap and old as weapons that we got over and over again like a thousand times It wasn't rewarding at all it was just a waste of time

I didn’t even go in there. People had to be really naive to expect anything. Really. There’s also no pinnacle to earn, so forget it!! Not worth my time! In fact Undying is the epitome of worthless and meaningless titles. There is no cheaper title in this game , and god knows there are many cheap titles in this game. I was there? My life isn’t the best, but it’s far from being that bad.

I hope the community managers and other employees can line up new jobs before it’s too late. DMG, if you list Activision on your résumé, it’ll look much better than Bungie, I’m sure.

For one bungie the way it was hyded up I was expecting like a mini raid even dungion type thing it's own content like a strike or something new I love destiny been day one d1 player but that hurt was worse Than bad

Yeah I thought it was gonna be some epic boss fight with rewarding loot and maybe an exotic quest? Nope same loot, same mechanics but this time with a bullet sponge hydra.

Is there a pinnacle reward tied to the event? Maybe from a higher difficulty? (I haven't played it yet)
