I know I make many petitions, but I believe this weapon deserves it the most. Breakneck is now showing to be worse than Reckless Oracle (auto rifle from the new raid). I mean, c'mon I had to grind for Breakneck. For Traveler's sake it's a pinnacle weapon! It should at least be on par with the alternatives out there. Pls upvote if you agree.

Yes these 2 def. Deserve it

Edited by DeathPony07: 11/22/2019 12:27:46 AMUn-nerf everything that didn't need to be nerfed.
-
Redrix and breakneck need a buff
-
Bungie sucks! Thats why I dont grind for anything anymore and I have lost interest in the game
-
agreed, reveres changes to breakneck and buff redrix
-
No doubt. This was a good primary for a legendary IMO.
-
I second.
-
Never should have been touched.
-
I totally agree. Right before I saw your post, I posted about exactly this! Although I don't see my post on here. (??). Such a seneless nerf! And a slap in the face for a bunch of us that grinded for that gun. It's kind of insulting.

Breakneck absolutely needs one. Redrix too*

Edited by Rocket: 11/20/2019 2:36:45 PMAgreed. Bring autos back. Let them* compete with pulses. Bygones should not out shoot a max range half dan.. NO

Agreed the Weapon needs a huge buff not only to damage but to Magazine size as well

Signed.

Break neck was barely even good before. It took so much of the clip to get a kill that when you got the rof buff you either had a few shots, then the perk was gone after you reloaded, or you reloaded immediately then the perk barely lasted 10 shots. I love ars, but would still run origin story and hazard of the cast as much or more than break neck. The rampage nerf made no sense to me, but this nerf was mind-boggling.

They have already mentioned a change during the last “petition”.... They have already talked on in proving them...

Nah man it actually needs to be nerfed by 70% damage in pve. Obviously it’s to op that’s why they had to nerf it before the meta was breakneck. Maybe if everyone wasn’t using breakneck to clear bosses in the first phase we would still have it pre patch.
hahahahahahaha
-
Yes please
-
And redrix as well, it’s not like anyone ever argued they were op in pve, why were they touched at all? Makes no sense. Also, in my opinion after they nerfed precision damage to red bars weapons don’t feel as good. They should revert that change.

If they're not gonna fix rampage they should remove the damage reduction it receives when the perk kicks in.

Edited by Xero: 11/19/2019 6:51:41 PMBest of luck on this. The "nerf" spoken of applies to the perks involved, which just so happen to effect the weapon. This might be a matter of just asking to swap out perks then, since the perk changes would be across the board for all guns that receive these perks. It may not be feasible to reverse a damage based perk without breaking the rest of the guns. Now I've referenced what I believe are the notes about the change. Found here.
REDUCED THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE FOLLOWING PERKS IN PVE: Rampage, Kill Clip, Swashbuckler, Multikill Clip, Desperado, Surrounded, Master of Arms, Onslaught In general, these perks use the same damage multipliers for PvE that they did in PvP The change to Rampage does not affect the Huckleberry Onslaught and Desperado now change bullet impact values while active in PvE
The topic on the change originally gained traction here. This topic received 621 upvotes, and was created on Oct 14th. A duplicate thread was also made Oct 14th here with 239 upvotes. Today (Nov 19th) a duplicate topic from a respondent on this thread created this. Which is also trending with 116 upvotes. At the moment, neither of these trending threads had seen a response from Bungie. Nor have I found an older thread with fewer upvotes that has a response either.
