Okay only one of those would have counted because it has to be charged. I will tell you I had it done in less than an hour using arc hunter running the vex offensive (the super counts as melee). You can also use top tree striker titan with skull fort if you have it.

Try equipping a sword because as long as you have zero ammo, a sword kill counts as a melee kill. That's how I did the Void melee kills for the Dark side of the Moon triumph.

Welcome. I was struggling getting the Void melee kills running as a Nightstalker when I saw this suggestion and was amazed that it actually worked. Went down in the Hellmouth and spent 30 or so minutes running around smacking Hive and had it done.
