As a side-note, why is Bungie unwilling to revive Mars and other prior expansions by adding random roll gear to the past local loot tables? Such a move would make past expansions worth farming again, thereby giving players more reward options. The random loot factor is what makes looter shooters like the Diablo and Borderlands franchise so re-playable.
Bungie, how about investing in a proven winning formula once again?
EDIT: This would resolve lack-of-player participation issues since there would be renewed reason to farm Mars and Escalation Protocols.
2nd EDIT: Whoever downvoted this idea must not like Random Rolls LOL.

They’ll revive everything and stick a tag “new expansion” on it and a price tag lol it will be a Illusion method to pretend they actually make new content

Elitists hate the idea of any sort of matchmaking because everyone else will have all the things that make them feel special that they worked so hard (had active friends) for and they don't want bungie "giving things away". Its just a simple fact that those who have friends who are actively in the game get more done than those of us who are kinda doing everything on our own and can use a little help finding groups sometimes.
anyone who complains about not wanting to carry people through and teach new players content, is getting carried and making excuses to compensate for that anyone who doesn't suck knows the golden rule just get through it
Edited by Fox: 11/13/2019 8:28:02 PMChances are, Bungie doesn't want random rolls on alot of old guns because alot of those guns are solid with their static perks, which let's be honest, can be really mediocre perk combos. So, random rolls might end up making every weapon after their generation just garbage. So, maybe Bungie just can't be bothered tweaking all those weapons so they're in line with current weapons in terms of random rolls.
Really, I've got no clue. Just throwing a guess out there.
