Nothing can be deleted from your account while on Bungie.net. If it is asking you authenticate a different account it means it is not the same one likes to your profile that you were originally playing on. You may want to ensure you’re logging into steam won’t the correct credentials as well. It sounds like you’re logging in to the new account in game as well.
