Seriously, remove the gun precision handycap from controllers on PC. There should be no disadvantage for prefering different peripherals.

"Oh, your controller gun precision is already challenging? Well, let us slap another artifical handycap on it with making guns more precise for mouse users on PC." Something like that must have the devs from High Moon Studios thought of controller users on battle.net. This is nothing new. This problem exists silently since release of D2 on battle.net and carried over now to Steam as well without a fix. We all know and can understand that people have a right to play what they like and how they like. Builds in the game can and should differ in efficiency. But peripherals should not. A controller user should have no difference in game balance. The only difference should be in the way how the game feels with the specific peripherals. But this difference should not be decided by difference in gun precision and flich/recoil-disadvantage. Only in case key maping. Bungie, I play Destiny 1 since the beta. I play D2 since the beta and went with you throught the shit times as well. But after like 5-6 years of loyalty to the Destiny games, I dare to expect from you that controller users and mouse users on PC get treated EQUALLY! Especially since you invented cross-save for Destiny 2. I went over from console to PC because I wanted to make the experience better for me. While PVE works like it should, PVP is an unbalanced and broken experience. And I'm not overreacting. When I see someone killing me with Recluse (with buff active) on auto rifle distance in a perfect line (he seriously had no recoil pattern), I can say "this shouldn't be possible"... OR better said "this should also be possible FOR ME". Why do you insist on making controller users feel awefully bad in pvp? On Xbox I was able to hold myself positive but on PC I have problems to do so... One factor is that the ELO/Skill-Tier (etc.) from my Xbox profile carried over and of course the game is in a different skill balance on xbox compared to PC. The other factor is, that the PC players have an advantage over us controller users by having more precision on their guns so they don't have to move their mouse on the entire desk, to keep the reticle where it should be. And that makes it like an easy mode for them to aim. Right now, we controller users have to compensate the recoil and flinch under fire at least two times stronger than a mouse user. And that is not only annoying, no, it is also upsetting. And now imagine, you are a person like me: Having trembling hands, a bad hand eye coordination in shooters with a mouse and being forced to play with a controller as result. PvP is then no fun. And I am no pvp hater in general (even if I say directly what I dislike). So please, take a look onto that problem. Maybe even remove the handycap like I suggested. But stop treating us different from mouse users on PC. We all should have the same gun precision.

That's just the nature of using a controller. It's much harder to be precise with them because there's only so much area on each axis that you can move. Don't like it? Learn to play with M&K, since it's the native peripherals for PC. And, not to sound mean, but if you have such an issue with your coordination, why are you playing FPS games? That's the most crucial part of playing those types of games.
