Why? It has absolutely no pull on the game as a whole.
-
Not sure about that one, chief.
-
How are you forced to use Eververse? How does it negatively impact you at all? I can name at least one way that it has positively affected the game, and that is with the Outbreak Perfected quest.
-
All of the aesthetic content which could’ve been earned in game to make activities a little more interesting was put behind Eververse. The one thing which made this somewhat bearable were seasonal engrams which are now gone. I never said anything about forced purchases.
-
I still get some seasonal engrams, but they're the "Nostalgic Engrams" if that matters at all. Most current seasonal stuff for Eververse can still be earned via Bright Dust which you get by completing activities (bounties). Though, I WILL say Bungie needs to tweak the amount of Bright Dust earned because right now, it's rather abysmally low.
-
That’s the problem. They made it abysmally low to incite you into wanting to buy engrams. It’s a classic marketing ploy. There’s no forcing involved. Eververse is the perfect representation of what the company is becoming. Solely driven by profits with hardly any intention of listening to the players like they did in the first game.
