This time last year, Forsaken pvp was probably the most fun D2 has seen. You could run what ever you wanted, plus we had 9 new subclasses to play with.
The new subclasses makes it difficult for Shadowkeep pvp to compete, but pvp right now is somewhat restrictive. Hand cannons can be very hard to use, people playing passive with scouts, etc, etc, and One eyed mask still being in the game.
I believe it'll get better, but I don't feel as excited as I used to in general.

Then everyone figured out how good and easy to get DRB was. I still see the old DRB, LH/NF, Wardcliff loadout often.

Forsaken PvP was fun for about a month before people started to realise how broken the super economy was.

well yeah, but it really was just nova warp. I remember having fun all 3 months.

Nova Warp was the most busted initially, then it was Spectral Blades, then Fists of Havoc. Even then, supers were way to easy to get and most of the roaming ones had way too much health.
