I am beyond disgusted with how this quest has been handled . i love the fact that some elbow grease and time is needed for the better exotics in this game but come on bungie. after you apparently "fixed" this quest, my fourth key after inserting into the box disappeared and didn't give progress . now i dont have a quest for a fourth key or a mold and it didn't advance the quest. so now what ? i have to wait another four weeks and re do all the grinding i spent since the "fix" this previous Tuesday . I am so disappointed . You guys need to actually fix this quest or just change the way it's completed at this point . I hope you can track people who have been effected by this and lost their items and fix accordingly to the part we SHOULD be on ..

Same position here my friend, did all the work to get the fourth key, finished it and it dissappeared, I figured it just didn't tick off and the box is bugged, did what I have done before where I abandon and reaccept and it ticks off all progress, this time is reset it all lmao how unfortunate, thanks Bungie.

I just finished the black key mold and tried inserting the key, and it just disappeared. at this point, they should just give it to everyone

By the time this weapon becomes available again the playerbase will eventually be cut down to where you can't even find a group for a raid to use it. Just pull a prometheus lense on this one; hand out the weapon, noone is interested in playing this stupid quest any more. Be decent for once..

More's the point why is it broken now? Like a lot of players I completed this a whole season ago and have been wielding my Izanagis against bosses for weeks. I have nothing but sympathy for players hitting a wall with this quest. It was fun and enjoyable to do with a couple of friends, ever since I found that mysterious box in the cave, and sufficiently challenging with a decent payoff at the end. Totally unacceptable to stump people at this stage , especially if they've been pulled in by New Light and bought Forsaken. Every season is the same. New content breaks the old.

Without a doubt they dropped the ball. This quest should of been locked so people don’t make that mistake. Not everybody comes to the forums or even uses social media ,they screwed up on this one.🤬

Same thing for me, I did the forth forge to finally get past this quest step and to my surprise after waiting for this patch, I get the key, insert it but nothing happens. I tried the forge again to just see if I was having a glitch but no, this key is still not working and is still bugged. I don't have the key mold to try it again and now may have to do every thing over again when bungie "patches" or "fixes" it. This is so annoying and should not be happening for one of the higher tier exotics in the game after a patch to fix it a first time.

Edited by Reinhart959: 11/1/2019 7:48:54 PMAgreed, i waited weeks to get the opportunity for a rare bounty from Ada, it took me ages to get it, and i got it, for it to say i had to complete the shattered throne or a raid, so i did the shattered throne and after completing it i consumed the obsidian crystal to input into my mysterious box, and it did.... nothing, spent all that time doing shattered throne again, for it to just vanish from my inventory as soon as i consume it to go into the box. FIX THIS its getting irritating now, or just change the quest and make it so we have to do the pyramidon part to get it, rather than doing the grind all over again... or wait for bungie to update

1 ReplyThe exact same shit happened to me so what do you think will bungie do ? so like it would be to OP if they would gift izanagi to us even if it would be the most reasonable possibility. Just patching it and have everyone do it again is no solution for the thousands of people who have the same issue as we do right now. I think the best would be that everybody gets the key again and is able to insert it again after the patch. So nobody would have to do it all over again but could continue where they left of
