You may have been.
It's safe to assume you were but there's also the possibility that your internet genuinely gave out due to buffer bloat, ISP issues, or general loss of service.

I might have, and I decided to ask just in case because in my case it is very rare to see my internet just get cut off for 5-10 minutes completely. It was an odd occurrence to me. The usual problems I had is my game crashing but not many internet disconnecting issue. So yeah thank you for replying. Just had to be sure.
