Just get a Thunderlord. I chose to not be unlucky by RNG and just have a Thunderlord. It's a life style choice.

I wish I could say get fated engrams from Xur, but alot of exotics have released after Forsaken. In a few days you can get a Spooky Heavy Machine Gun from Eris after doing the Shadowkeep Campaign from the Essence of Greed, all you have to do is farm Nightmares and public events on the Moon and find a item called Ethereal Charms in the Temple of Crota.
