Bungie feels like they “Wrapped up her story pretty well”. So we won’t be seeing her again

I think that was said some time around war mind, so maybe some things have changed since then story wise.

That quote was from before Destiny 2 launched. I think it was the same interview where Luke Smith talked about how rewarding it would be to get our 10th Better Devils Hand Cannon. Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy started keeping a very low profile once the community’s opinion on Destiny 2 soured ( after the first 2-3 weeks ), and we didn’t hear much from either of them until after Forsaken came out. The Exo Stranger = Elsie Bray reveal always felt like a hasty last minute bone thrown to the community to quell all the backlash to the stupid things that come out of Luke Smiths big mouth.

There was also all that stuff from the queen’s courts. We know now that Mara went with Eris, but she said “I side must always be taken, even if its the wrong side” and teleported using the same effect that the stranger used when she teleported. Along with all the pyramid ships and the nine, I think her story is not in fact “wrapped up”
