There is something called guitar error, and it causes random disconnections to no fault of the user or their connection. They still get punished, but Bungie swears up and down that guitar error is patched when it happens to me daily often directly telling me that It was guitar error that resulted in my departure.
Happens a lot, Bungie thinks it’s fixed. Problem

I still at times get a guitar error, thankfully it's not in comp. but when someone dies 4-7 times without a kill in the first 2 rounds then gets disconnected I doubt they got an error code. They just raged and turned off their xbox or closed out Destiny 2.
