Can’t from a Lore perspective. They even said year 1 of D1 exotics strain a guardians light. Having more then 1 weapon and 1 piece of armour can kill a guardian.

From a lore perspective, your character should delete itself upon dying in an area without any teammates alive and surrounding darkness. The lore shouldn't impede entertainment.

Actually the phrase is lore shouldn’t impede gameplay. Which is doesn’t. All unlocking exotics for every slot would do is just cause more of a meta. Would it increase use of useless exotics? Yes. But it would be a lot less impactful on how you play. Pretty sure pvp would be greatly unbalanced and pve is just be a must have all these exotics or you can’t join. This will punish those with bad RNG as well as those that are new to the game.

Except it would im the way your using it to allow one element of the game in which you agree with, but not for another in which you don't. Moreover, it's only for one match type outside of competitive (mayhem). That's hardly game breaking.

How would you regulate that hmm how do we know glitches won’t be found to exploit this. This is why they don’t do it it’s more of a headache to do it then to not.
