Anyone else kinda bummed that there is no lore on lots of the new exotics?
Now they just feel like a...gun. Nothing more... I can't be the only one

I feel the same way. Like part of what made the exotics interesting world-wise as well as functionally was just...dropped :/ It wasnt just that “i have a sword that teleports, i have a sword that teleports designed by a significant story figure and now i get the chance to be part of that too” But now like you said, now, its just a gun that happens to work well.
