Broccoli/Graphics: device lost or removed.

So, i've been having quite a few problems with Destiny 2 since it ported to Steam, even though it worked fine when it was still on Battle.net. I still have the same hardware as when i first purchased it. Here are my specs: -ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero -Intel Core i7-8700K -ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 AMP! Extreme The game will launch and run fine, but crashes randomly during playsessions. sessions usually lasts between 5-15 minutes. I deleted the CVARS, verified the steam files, ran the program with admin privileges, updated the drivers, overclocked my GPU, underclocked my GPU, ran with default clock on GPU and finally restarted my pc multiple times throughout the whole ordeal to no avail. I tried a handful of other games just to be sure, and it seems to me that Destiny 2 has some problems with either Nvidia drivers or some GPUs Nothing works for me it seems, and i'm about to lose my mind. Here is the crash log: stack: 00007FF7795C927F <unknown> 00007FF7795C860A <unknown> 00007FF7795C4302 <unknown> 00007FF77A571941 <unknown> 00007FF77A380403 <unknown> 00007FF77A380324 <unknown> 00007FF77A3E8F7D <unknown> 00007FF77A4BFA93 <unknown> 00007FF77A42FFE7 <unknown> 00007FF77A42CFC7 <unknown> 00007FF77A42E0CF <unknown> 00007FF77A4388CB <unknown> 00007FF77A372190 <unknown> 00007FF77A371FE1 <unknown> 00007FF7796B4D59 <unknown> 00007FF7795E4F24 <unknown> 00007FF7795E2876 <unknown> 00007FF7795E5151 <unknown> 00007FF77961B9C3 <unknown> 00007FF77961BA66 <unknown> 00007FFD740B7BD4 <unknown> 00007FFD749ECEE1 <unknown> session_id: Thu_10032019_210522_013092@x64@76561198022078800@E5_2A_D2_49_05_7F_4799 halt: RELEASE_VHALT halt information: Graphics: device lost or removed. fatal error detected, current status was: init: init.txt version: d2_rc tiger_final release pc_x64 77461.19.09.04.1048.d2_rc 19.09.04 1048 session_id: Thu_10032019_210522_013092@x64@76561198022078800@E5_2A_D2_49_05_7F_4799 GPU Device: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 GPU VendorId: 4318 GPU DeviceId: 7041 GPU SubSysId: 339024346 GPU Revision: 161 silo_id: 1665943536976354304 signon_server_reported_content_version: 77461.77461-7 authority-over-current-bubble: false - map slice set 'HASH(0xe6231953)':35, activity slice set 280 authority-over-domain: false world_controller previous_state: activity:physics_join world_controller state: activity:in_world world_controller state_reason: unavailable environment_string: D2_ProdRetail:341 install type: 5 change-world: loaded edz_freeroam game_instance: 0000000034DDEB0F game_is_playback: false activity_tier: e_activity_tier.one activity-slice-set-index: 280 map-slice-set-index: 35 in-public-bubble: true AH active workspace: <no active workspace> activity_host_fireteam_is_connected: yes activity_host_last_fireteam_session_id: Thu_10032019_080849_116452@x64@game_svc_lp$@N07SH02SRV044 activity: edz_freeroam activity_host_group_target_is_connected: yes activity_host_group_target_session_id: Thu_10032019_080439_008176@x64@game_svc_lp$@N07SH04SRV037 activity_host_group_current_is_connected: yes activity_host_last_group_current_session_id: Thu_10032019_080753_067052@x64@game_svc_lp$@N09SH07SRV045 system_milliseconds: time 848360827 timezone_seconds_offset_from_UTC: -3600 is_current_bubble_authority: false crash_folder_location: C:\Users\Thomas\AppData\Local\Temp\Destiny 2\crash_folder\pc_x64\crash_folder_13092_20191003_210842\ primary_bap_server_ip_address: 172.97.57.214 primary_bap_server_port: 7501 world_controller state_status: activity:in_world (goal:002:activity:in_world) player_position_x: -21.366905 player_position_y: 583.542725 player_position_z: 14.771955 Event viewer log: "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." - <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> - <System> <Provider Name="Display" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">4101</EventID> <Level>3</Level> <Task>0</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2019-10-03T19:08:43.561174700Z" /> <EventRecordID>3397</EventRecordID> <Channel>System</Channel> <Computer>DESKTOP-BS2TKST</Computer> <Security /> </System> - <EventData> <Data>nvlddmkm</Data> <Data /> </EventData> </Event> Edit: Welp, after a day, i seem to have bootstrapped my pc to be able to play Destiny 2. Altough this seems to be a little wonky, it works for me at the moment... what i did after the whole ordeal was to put Nvidia in debug mode.
