Been getting Major FPS drops and stuttering since Launch on Battle.net
Hello, I've been having issues running Destiny 2 since I first got it back when it was on Battle.net and I pretty much gave up on it until the recent steam transfer prompted me to give it another try. Basically out of all my games Destiny 2 runs the worst for some reason, like I'm used to getting the occasional fps drops but with D2 they are so frequent that it makes the game unplayable. I'll go from 70+ frames down to 17 or less continuously and it makes it so jarring. I've tried running on all settings, down to the very lowest they can possibly go on the lowest resolution, i've tried windowed, fullscreen, borderless, etc. I made sure my game is whitelisted in my nvidia control panel, i've made sure my system is running at max power settings, drivers up to date, all that noise. I've tried running Destiny 2 multiple times through the past few years on different Nvidia driver versions and the result was always the same. Here are my specs and yes I know I hate my life and I regret buying from Alienware they are the worst.
Alienware 13 R3
Intel i7-7700HQ 2.80ghz
Nvidia GTX1060
32gb of RAM
two 1TB ssd hard drives.
Windows 10 Pro 64bit (latest version)
Internet speeds @ : 13ms ping, 220.72mbps download, 24.10mbps upload.
If you need any more info just lemme know, me and my friends are all thumbs here. I'm able to run other games relatively fine but this one just loves those drops and stutters the most.
