I'm sure it's not a HW issue but okay: -Ryzen 2600x -GTX 1080 -Asus B450-F -16GB RAM@3200Mhz -Game and system on 500GB SSD

Have you tried a scan and repair? I’ve never seen this buggy vsync issue you are referring to and I’m not sure why you even need to use vsync as a 1080 should run the game well over 60 just fine

I can't stand stuttering, that's why I use vsync. Also, as I said, I reinstalled my whole PC yesterday so scan & repair shouldn't do anything.

So if you say don’t use vsync what does your frame rate tend to sit at or bounce near?

Depends on the situation, usually around 100 FPS. Also my GPU/CPU usage never even gets over 50%.

So instead of using the outside nvidia panel which I hate using because I think it’s rather clunky. Have you tried using the frame rate cap and say cap it at like 90?
