Edited by EL: 9/26/2019 6:59:08 PMNot in red and blue. Bulbasaur resists water pokemon so mistys gym is easy. Rock is weak to grass so brocks gym is easier. And you don’t encounter the fire gym until later which gives you enough time to collect a water pokemon

What’s wrong with grass types? Serperior and Mega Venusaur are top tier competitively. Chesnaught and Mega Sceptile are relatively high as well.

Yea for competitive they are totally good. But casually they have 5 weaknesses vs waters 2 and fires 3.

It’s not really that big of an issue in casual where the npcs are mostly incompetent and you have 6 pokemon at all times, including legendaries
