Blade barrage would be fine if hey fixed the shards exploit for instant super, its only a problem in two places, mayhem, and blind well. Otherwise its not all that threatening. However. The hit detection seems to much. im not even given the chance to actually dodge as ill see a hunter jump in mayhem, knowing full well the intent behind this i duck behind a wall but just as the sound for the cast starts instantly have shards in me behind the wall before the physical animation has sent the blades out yet, or the sound of impact occurs, so basically ive died behind a wall before the cast animation, sound, or physical blades appear at all. Not a connection problem, im hardwired, under 20 ping. This happens frequently.

4 RepliesNot gonna lie, I expected to have a fun time running Blade Barrage in my matches yesterday night, but I was surprised to find out that it actually wasn’t as potent as it used to. Sure I got like one or two kills, but then I proceeded to get trapped by one out dozens of Shadowshots, or blasted by a Nova Bomb, or disintegrated by a Golden Gun, or Thundercrashed, or blown up with hammers, of just straight up murdered by Titans in general. Their supers seem to be much more stronger now, with all their aimbot hammers and shields. Also there was one interesting occasion where I Blade Barraged a Titan, the tracking was clearly there and it was clear that it connected, but then the Titan flew away and just avoided the super alltogether. Didn’t shoulder charge away, didn’t do anything special to avoid it. He just simply floated away and the Blade Barrage decided to not work anymore...

Allow me to introduce to you a phenomenal super called Banner shield. It blocks Blade Barrages no problem! And with void detonators can make quick work of any other super. Come ShadowKeep, we will have the capability to block entire supers with Ward of Dawn! And for those pesky roaming supers all that is needed is to Jebait them into coming into the shield and promptly suppress them. Combined with Helm of Saint-14, this might be a very good build!

1 ReplyHow is that worse than facing a whole 6 man team of bottom tree Titans, in regular, non mayhem pvp? Mayhem is supposed to be a super spamming extravaganza. Titans and Warlocks get to spam their supers too. Get over it, or don't play Mayhem.

2 RepliesThat's just stupid. Nova, thundercrash, dawnblade, hammers, wraith, are all just as effective. BB has a limit on how many kills you can get per super. 6 people can be right in front of you and you'll get 2, maybe 3 if you're lucky. Every other super would wipe that team.

If anything blade barrage are too inconsistent. 1 v 1 on warlock throwing nova bomb = dead hunter and nova bomb absorbing the BB. BB too often will miss targets. I'm actually seeing more Dawnblades and sentinels in mayhem.
