In the end all they care about is people playing the game. That's why recoveries, lag switching, and other forms of cheating still exist.

Yes it is. Thats not even the only reason. You not even playing is cheating. Giving another user your account is cheating. Recovs ddos and glitch to get you your stuff. Thats cheating. Youre an absolute 🤡🤡🤡 and probably paid for a recov yourself.

Nope have never done that. Have been paid to do many recoveries tho. While I agree ddosing and network manipulation of any sort is cheating. Having someone play on your account cause you can't do something/don't want to or don't have the time to is on no way cheating.

Letting someone else play on your account is both an account recovery by definition and against bungies terms of service If Jim goes over to bobs house to play destiny on bobs new TV, that's technically a bannable offense.

This is a virtual world that affects nothing. You're paying for digital content that translates into nothing. Under your logic getting carried threw content would be seen as cheating too cause it's like getting told the answers to the test and you just writing them down.. your logic is the one that is flawed.

Getting “carried” and literally paying and handing your account info to get a “guaranteed” something are two different things. If you get carried you still participated (at least I hope you did) and that doesnt go against terms of service. Giving out account info is certainly against terms of service and cheating since you arent doing anything to earn loot.

It's actually not against tos and if it is everyone is in violation of it. Cause we've all had friends over that wanted to try our a game of ours at some point or another.... and your logic between paying for a recovery and paying for a carry is so flawed it's almost laughable... you're not earning anything anymore by being carried just taking up more time then needs to be.

I dont see the problem. Your friend isnt paying you and giving you his account through some shady service that GUARANTEES you rewards. Simply going over his house and playing isnt cheating. Most people with a social life do that.

Again obviously you don't know what cheating is. Regardless if I'm recovering I'm at my friends house playing or if I'm at my house and I recover his account it's not cheating. Sane logic applies to any recove... monetary or not. Same goes in PvP and pve! To cheat there's got be an unfair advantage given.
