This is simple.
Bungie already has a report feature for bans. That's already covered. Posting there names here is not going to get the attention of the enforcement team.
Two posting their name here only makes the ones named get publicly shamed, and shunned.
Three, you might think they are cheating, but you could be wrong. That happens alot. I know people that have yet go get killed legit. Every death is due to a lag switcher, every disconnect a ddoss. This forum would be nothing but morons claiming so and so cheated, and likely never be right. So it makes sense that it's not allowed.
Use the report feature, and move on. Nobody likes a cheater, but it is just a game too. You can't let it stress you out so much.

Bungie should have used dedicated servers. It's that simple. [quote]This is simple. Bungie already has a report feature for bans. That's already covered. If you cheat you deserve the public shunning, the report feature doesn't do anything, please don't act like it does. It is only there to stop people from complaining they don't actually check the reports I have seen boosters and cheaters get reported 100s of times and they will still continue to spam lfg posts ON BUNGIES WEBSITE for paid account recovs or kill lobbies for certain guns. Bungie is too lazy to worry about keeping cheaters out of their game.
-
Trouble is, not everyone who gets blamed for cheating is cheating. They don't deserve to be shunned.

Explain clay is clutch. Took them how long to temp ban him?
-
It's not about explaing a cheater. It's to protect those who are innocent of cheating, having a mob after him because some idiot with a potatoe connection thinks so and so is lag switching, aim botting ect.
-
I can promise you clay is clutch was cheating. His trademark was Useing pulses that fired like auto rifles.
-
Maybe he was. That's however not the point. They have the rule no name shaming so you don't log into these forums, just to see a post how you are cheating, are a PoS ect. You don't log into your gaming platform and get death thteats ect. Just because someone falsely accused you of cheating.
-
Well people wouldn't come to these forums to name and shame if bungie actually showed they were doing somthing about cheaters. But when you see their off filled with account recovery carries etc "guarantee wins" you lose any sense of credibility from your players if you can't handle minor things such as that.
-
If Bungie really cared about protecting people who are innocent, they'd actually police their own forums for the cyberbullying and blatant harassment people engage in on Bungie.net. They do. Some people have complained that the forum ninjas are too strict. Not saying they are. I have reported posts for such things, but I can't say what might have been done to those as I can't see what I have reported. Though I have seen threads that were shut down with ninja justice a number of times.

You just proved his point.

Guy was reported through the in game dureing d1 trials of osiris. Again through d2 trials of the nine. Then competitive playlist in general. It wasn't u til YouTubers and streamers started plastering footage of him doing the cheating that somthing was done and it was still a temporary ban none the less he's back and still doing the same thing.
