Very sad when you have to give a game away to get people to play.
Real shitty to all that paid for all the content you are giving away.I was ok with new light but now giving away forsaken and the dlc's.

So do you feel crappy when you buy a game, like borderlands 3 for instance, and knowing on black friday it will be half off? Games arent going to full price forever and you have a huge leg up on any player entering the game for free. I'd rather have more people playing the game than none at all.

Other games do not take content away from the game unlike with shadowkeeps "seasons".

Also other games turn around and sell you dlc two months later that could have been in the base game. Have you been blind to how the gaming industry has operated for the past forever?

I guess this is why I liked Destiny so much,but they have started do this also so it's time to say goodbye. I have been playing video games for fun for 30 years, this is more like a job than a hobby.

It's only a job if you make it a job. Destiny is nowhere close to the level of grind in other games. I log into Destiny , i shoot things, i get loot and i log off.

Your opinion,mine is different Season content disappears ,leveling system that is tied to Xp Artifacts you must grind every season Season will only give us,what a horde mode to grind for six weeks with no other content? What fun

Then don't play the game, no-one is forcing you. If the content is inevitably going to be free in the future just wait til then. Personally i like to see revolving content.

What fun[/quote] Sounds like Destiny is not for you then. It clearly wasn't built for people like you so go find a game that is and enjoy life. Unless complaining about how Bungie has a whole staff of people who built content but they shouldn't get paid because you think it should be free is how you enjoy life. It is pretty standard that after the year is over the Season Pass stuff get included. You pay to get the content when it is released. Next time wait a year if you want free stuff and then complain about how you are a year behind.

Not only that, wrt xp/artifact leveling, but one can actually directly purchase those levels at some point inside the season. When is irrelevant, the fact that it is allowed, is the relevant concern.

Not really, considering this has always been a thing, so it shouldn't be anything new to you. If it's a slap in the face as you say, then every damn game and company has slapped all gamers in the face when things go on sale or become free. Who cares if the annual pass is now free. Suck it up. Nothing new to gaming and happens all the time where people get a better deal on something months after the release. I bought DMC5 for the full 60$ on launch. Not ccomplaining its part of game pass for as low as a buck.

Agreed. That being said, I’m not a fan of having content removed. And it’s not due to a cost benefit analysis. $10USD per season is amazingly inexpensive, we’re talking less than $0.04 per day here. That’s as close to giving it away as one can get. I just fail to see the logic behind “growing” the game into a mmo by removing all seasonal activities every 90 days. It makes little sense to me. You don’t grow a thing by contracting the thing.
