I suggest Bungie to have a look at Guild Wars 2. They have the concept of an ever evolving world with the living seaons. This is exactly the Deal Breaker that has made be confirm my decision to opt out of the whole Destiny Series and not getting Shadowkeep at all. Like you said, Free Events like Festival of the Lost, Dawning, EAZ, Haunted Forest, Solstice of Heroes etc. then I wouldn’t mind so much of Content being removed. But like you said, since it’s PAID Content being removed, it’s a no go for me. If there was anytime to opt out of Destiny, it would be now which is where I’m getting off.

The Cosmetics within the Battle Pass will be removed so if you don’t get all of the Cosmetic stuff, either pay to finish it out or miss out aka Weaponed FOMO. And same with the Content we Pay for such as Vex Offensive and Activities of that nature and again, Weaponized FOMO. So basically if you don’t put in Streamer Hours and Free Loader Hours, you’re SOL. But if you are a Casual, Bungie gives you the big F U. “And by Casuals I don’t mean the ones that want everything to be easy and handed to them, I’m talking about the Casuals who can only put in 2-3 Hours a Week due to Family Life, Work/Career Life, Social Lives etc.) people like us are shunned from this game.

They are going way to hard in the direction of: play this game full time like a day job or don't get anything unless you cough up more cash after allready beging charged full price AAA game, DLC's and Season Passes. Developers like Bungie that do this really makes me appreciate Free to Play Games like Warframe who’s Developers respect their Community and their wallets. I wish Bungie would go completely Free to Play with Destiny and give us all the DLC and Expansions for Free and keep Eververse and their precious Battle Pass, I’d be fine with that but Greed makes Bungie want it both ways they want free to play destiny but want to monetize like a Triple A Title. I spent on Destiny 2 alone $180 bucks and for that $180 bucks, I should have everything Eververse offers obtainable thru Strikes, Raids, Nightfalls etc.

So basically Bungie created another cash grab that could be easily set up like Dawning and other activities like that. That's mighty nice of them to show that kind of appreciation to their player base. Especially knowing how much money was forked out that is more then enough money for this game the last 2 years..

Yeah, they are fully monetizing the progression system. This is going to whittle the game down to its most hardcore fanboys. It will be funny when no lifers obliterate the 3-month content then have nothing to do as they wait to pay an extra 10 bucks for new content every season.
