aka that pink haired whiny youtube guy, Ditto or whatever that's called..
Don't get me wrong, I'm no hardcore stream hater.. I like Aztecross weapon reviews on greg for example. Some good info on there for good dps weapons.
I like the dungeon but when seeing the footage it just looks like more jumping puzzles with extra steps, so that's a nono for me personally..
One thing which I find completely wrong is the taking away of content, especially because we have to pay to play said content. If you introduce content to strip it away, that should only be the FREE content, not the PAID content.
I suggest Bungie to have a look at Guild Wars 2. They have the concept of an ever evolving world with the living seaons. But guess what, I can play that damn season whenever I -blam!-ing feel like it. It doesn't get stripped away. There is no fear of missing out in that game. You will get whatever you want eventually depending on how much you play and when you play. They hit that right on the head and that game predates Destiny 1 by 2 years.. And now these guys are telling us "their product" can't handle something an older game can?

Removing paid content is unacceptable, no matter what. This is daylight robbery yet the bungie fan boys are gladly opening up their houses all for the bungie thieves to come and steal everything. Um, I play GW2 and I do not recall ever being able to access the living world seasons after they are over. Sure, we can see the effects of the story as ftp players but I do not remember being able to pay for Season 1 of the Living World storyline.

However, if you miss a season then it costs 200 gems, equating about two dollars or around 75 in game gold to buy it and access it at that point.

Hmm. I never saw the option to play season 1 (it had something to do with clockwork stuff I think) for any price but I could have been looking in the wrong spot. I will have to go check that out now.

From what I recall I could joing them by purchasing them through the in game shop after they were over. Maybe that is no longer available as I haven't logged in in a while so that might have changed. Would be a shame if they did because it gave everyone a chance to play the missions if you couldn't log on when they went live for the first time.

Last I logged in was about a year ago (right before path of fire) and the first season was no longer available for purchase. I think it expires after a year or two because Lions Arch had just finished being rebuilt a few months after I started playing GW2.

Like you said, Free Events like Festival of the Lost, Dawning, EAZ, Haunted Forest, Solstice of Heroes etc. then I wouldn’t mind so much of Content being removed. But like you said, since it’s PAID Content being removed, it’s a no go for me. If there was anytime to opt out of Destiny, it would be now which is where I’m getting off.

The Cosmetics within the Battle Pass will be removed so if you don’t get all of the Cosmetic stuff, either pay to finish it out or miss out aka Weaponed FOMO. And same with the Content we Pay for such as Vex Offensive and Activities of that nature and again, Weaponized FOMO. So basically if you don’t put in Streamer Hours and Free Loader Hours, you’re SOL. But if you are a Casual, Bungie gives you the big F U. “And by Casuals I don’t mean the ones that want everything to be easy and handed to them, I’m talking about the Casuals who can only put in 2-3 Hours a Week due to Family Life, Work/Career Life, Social Lives etc.) people like us are shunned from this game.

Developers like Bungie that do this really makes me appreciate Free to Play Games like Warframe who’s Developers respect their Community and their wallets. I wish Bungie would go completely Free to Play with Destiny and give us all the DLC and Expansions for Free and keep Eververse and their precious Battle Pass, I’d be fine with that but Greed makes Bungie want it both ways they want free to play destiny but want to monetize like a Triple A Title. I spent on Destiny 2 alone $180 bucks and for that $180 bucks, I should have everything Eververse offers obtainable thru Strikes, Raids, Nightfalls etc.

So basically Bungie created another cash grab that could be easily set up like Dawning and other activities like that. That's mighty nice of them to show that kind of appreciation to their player base. Especially knowing how much money was forked out that is more then enough money for this game the last 2 years..

Yeah, they are fully monetizing the progression system. This is going to whittle the game down to its most hardcore fanboys. It will be funny when no lifers obliterate the 3-month content then have nothing to do as they wait to pay an extra 10 bucks for new content every season.
