All I can say Bungie is... you got SO much to prove before I'd consider buying into your... "new change", "vision", "5 year plan" etc etc. I've heard it so many times before and there's so many times I feel I've been let down during D2. And I don't feel like being experimented on anymore. So therefor, for the first time in Destinys history I'm not gonna buy anything more from you before I feel it's absolutely worth it... and right now I'm not seeing any worth in spending more time or money towards your title...

So I’d really, REALLY like to believe the above comment, but unless there are differing versions of activities that balance rewards/amount of rewards against challenge and time investment in a way that accounts for the very different types of players this game has attracted, as well as multiple paths of progression/acquisition so that players aren’t shoehorned into grinding an activity(for many hours at that) that they don’t enjoy all that much in this game that is essentially multiple of very different genres all cobbled together(not everyone enjoys being competitive or Dark Souls-like trial and error), then this statement will basically be meaningless. It’s about more than just how players can configure their character load-outs. It’s about what activities they can play and how they can play them, on their terms. There is virtually no choice when it comes to that. Players are expected to be into and enjoy what is essentially several VERY different genres, or to miss out on content. That’s just not a practical or reasonable game model. Please for the love of all that is decent and reasonable in known existence, acknowledge this fact about Destiny and human nature, and act on it.

Bungie, I think you are doing a fine job and I'm excited for the future. This vidoc got me even more hyped. I know people like to complain, and I know do what you can to give them what they want. Soak in the good that your doing and don't worry about the complaints. One step at a time. Thank you for giving me my favorite game. I know you'll do what's right for the community and for the future of the franchise. Keep up the good work!
