I hope AR users get a buff, but can we please leave HCs alone? I personally hate ARs. I don't like how they feel and exclusivelyuse HCs. But I agree ARs need a buff to compete. But please please just leave HCs alone...

Autos got 25-30% pve damage increase scaling against all combatants. All handcannons got a 30% increase to minor damage in pve and adaptive and lightweight frames got a range nerf in exchange for higher overall accuracy. They tweaked the firing animation so it's easier to fire at full speed which bolsters accuracy.

How much of a range nerf is the question I'm asking. Tradeoffs are fine but bungie has a knack of over nerfing. Imo 140s/150s should have more range than a 180 but less than a 110. Faster fire rate with less range is an acceptable tradeoff.

They are tweaking their firing animation so accuracy should be better than before. The range nerf is likely to reign them in to give more room to the other archetypes because those 2 archetypes are dominating the other handcannon archetypes easily. Likely around a 2-5 meter range nerf. Like if I used ace of spades, instead of 30 meters, probably around 27-28 meters before fall off is applied. I feel like that's a bit more fair considering the other 2 archetypes of handcannon actually have a drastically slower ttk.
