People do realize that now that Activision is gone, Eververse will be more important than ever. Content can be made available for free but not designed for free, the Devs need to be paid for their work.
While going Free to Play will put more focus on Monetization, it's all about how it's balanced in the future. Just wait and see folks, let's see how it's balanced before we flip our lids.

What is free? I keep hearing people talk about how Destiny is going free to play but the fall expansions and annual pass cost the same damn amount it always has. Where is this free game that youre talking about?

But its not free to play. Forsaken is still $20 and the new premium content is $40. Warframe is free to play. D2 is not.

You completely miss the point of the post. OP never said "scrap eververse", just that there are things in the game that need an update far more than it does. I get them being independent means they need more money from us to make things, but that doesn't warrant constantly updating eververse and leaving vendors that haven't seen a gear update since S1 in the dust. Devrim, Sloane, Failsafe, and Asher all have the same armor and weapons on offer they did ON LAUNCH. I don't care what the excuse is, that's not acceptable. Especially almost 8 seasons in.

Destiny is trying to be" fortnight " I don't think a mechanism like that belongs in Destiny. U can't change parts of the world and make u pay 10$ with a loot ladder ...it works for fortnight but Destiny is not that kind of game that's not what we're use to in season pass or dlc

This game hasn't gone free to play, f2p means there are no charges for content destiny is anything but free to play the are a triple A game that still charges u triple A prices for dlc's, plenty of games are actually f2p an they spend there time an effort making there game good bungie focuses far to much on leeching more money from players.
