Dual blades are the closest to fast attacking it seems in that game, so I haven't tried anything else. I'm a fan of fast action, like dmc. So monster Hunter have me one choice lol. Still love it though

Insect Glaive is also a very fast weapon. You should try it out.

It's honestly really easy once you got the hang of it. Basically there's three buffs you wanna get before attacking. White - Speed Orange - Stamina?? Red - Attack Red is the one you MUST have at all times. You send your beetle buddy out to get those buffs for you. I recommend watching ArekkzGaming on YouTube for weapon tutorials. He gives the best tutorials. Even watching his dual blade tutorial may teach you something new lol.

You could try Sword and Shield. It also attacks pretty fast, has a bit of added defense due to the shield and a passive bonus and has good utility all round. It is also pretty easy to mount monsters and you have the ability to do stun and exhaust damage ,which is handy if your group lacks a hammer.

Next time I play I will definitely try it. I don't normally play in groups until at the end trying to perfect my build.
