Meh. Let people do what they want. Who are we to judge the choices other people make? If you want to risk nicotine addiction, by all means, go for it.

I can respect that. But if they’re choices are being made on false claims of safety, they are about to be victims. If they are fine with the risks. Then cool. But they should know of the risks.
-
But they should know of the risks.
That's all that needs to be said. People know the risks by now. No one is taking hits from vapes or carts without knowing the risks associated. The crazy thing is that there aren't enough studies on these devices for a valid argument to be made on either side whether one should use them or not. It comes down to whether or not you consent to being a guinea pig. Nobody smoked e-juice or concentrate a decade ago. We are the first people in history to be smoking this shit.
-
Nobody knows what’s in them exactly
-
No, we know exactly what is in e-juice. It's that we don't know the effects of smoking it because there haven't been any long-term studies.
-
That’s not an easy question to answer. No federal agency oversees the e-cigarette industry. That means no standards exist. Labels may inaccurately describe ingredients, and what you find in one brand may be vastly different from that found in another, for better or worse.
This was my point. There are definitely variations and inaccurate labels Also the next paragraph talks about toxic chemicals in e juice? I forget, are you for or against vaping?
-
Variations exist across different brands, and inaccurate labels are literally against the law. Nothing can be done about a company misinforming. Think if a company sold you hydrochloric acid instead of vinegar. Doesn't mean vinegar is bad, it means that the company is bad. This same thing happens with the vaping industry. This is why vaping doesn't need to be banned. If it's federally regulated, you will know what you are getting every time. Banning it will only criminalize it and then who knows what you'll get. This is what's happening in the THC distillate industry. They sell fake carts with only like 40% distillate and then with a bunch of turpenes (and liquid vitamin E now) and shit that aren't good for you. All in all, 6 people have died, and there are over 450 cases of severe lung disease with symptoms similar to that of pneumonia. ALL because the industry is not federally regulated, and the companies are trying to find better ways to make a profit, even if it is at the cost of their consumers. I'm not for or against vaping. I'm for a choice that doesn't affect others. Like I said, who are we to judge the choices other people make. If they want to risk nicotine addiction, then by all means. However, history tells us that banning a substance doesn't make it disappear. It becomes criminalized, more potent, and more dangerous for the consumer. (think 18th amendment)
-
Lol dude that’s from the article that you posted, and you’re completely going against it now, i’m confused
-
If you're confused, maybe you should do some research into the industry and into history before jumping on a bandwagon to ban something that YOU personally don't agree with.
-
Lol if I personally don’t agree with it then why shouldn’t I want it banned??? I’m very confused by your logic
-
Because if I personally disagree with vaccines, then why should I get my kids the treatments they need? The answer is, it doesn't matter what you personally think. Opinions are like assholes. Everyone's got one, and there are a hell of a lot of people. If the world was governed by people's personal opinions, well, then we'd live in today's world. The difference between your proposed solution and mine is that yours is a repeat of history that only makes the problems you are attempting to solve worse. If you know anything about living in the real world, you know that banning something does not make it disappear. The evidence of illicit drugs literally proves this. All banning something does is criminalize it, and make it more dangerous for people that aren't going to stop.
Meh. Let people do what they want. Who are we to judge the choices other people make? If you want to risk nicotine addiction, by all means, go for it.
you have to reremember this is far worse than simple tobacco you have the incredible amount of toxic waste that comes from these things... the batteries the chemicals the plastics the heavy metals etc... they are not good in soooo many ways.... sure,to each his own, but when the spiders starts flying, don't say I didn't warn you!!!!

It's far worse in certain departments... and far better in others. Bottom line is, inhaling anything other than air is bad for you.
It's far worse in certain departments... and far better in others. Bottom line is, inhaling anything other than air is bad for you.
agreed, however those vape devices are affecting the environment, that CANNOT be denied...

No different that cigarette butts. This is a paper towel vs air dryer argument. One pollutes more frequently, but one hits harder when it does pollute.
