Have you tried running a “scan & repair” of the game files, from the Battle.net launcher? Some folks uninstalled and re-installed the launcher, which worked. Also, are the launcher and the game files on the same drive? Apparently that can sometimes cause issues as well. There’s been a number of posts with this same issue, over the past week or so. Might be worth searching the forums for those threads, to see if there’s any other ideas for fixes.

  • Thank you so much for your advice. I will try. I associate it with the fact that I did not play for about a month. During this time I changed two countries. I thought that the problem might be related to blocking my IP address because of non-standard activity.

  • Doesn’t hurt to check your account security settings, just to be safe. But as I had said, this issue has popped up a fair bit since cross-save launched, with a few different fixes. Hope you find a fix that works for you.
